JAMES is an animator and illustrator with a BFA from Pratt Institute. His children's books DEAR YETI and HOW IT FEELS TO BE A BOAT have received starred reviews from Kirkus and Publishers Weekly and featured in the New York Times. He was a character artist on Netflix's Bojack Horseman, and a post-production artist on NBC’s stop motion Elf: a Christmas Musical with Screen Novelties. On the commercial side, he has animated/illustrated/directed work for clients including Braun, Soylent, Delta Airlines, Microsoft and LEGO.
His personal films, MOOON and WOLFGANG WOLFGANG JR., have played in festivals around the world and featured on Vimeo Staff Picks and Cartoon Brew. He developed Moon Rider a sci-fi kids series, and is developing new projects in the kids TV space.
